Led by Doctor Aaron Heide, his vision was to gather the people and services necessary to provide complete neurological care to patients in a single location. At Northwest Neurological and Neurovascular Services, established March 2006, our approach is to address all aspects of neurological disease. We understand that neurological illnesses can often provoke anxiety; people fearing the worst from their symptoms or diagnosis. We strive to provide urgent and thorough evaluations to help alleviate these fears.
We provide a patient education center with internet access and literature for patients and their loved ones to learn extensively and completely about their diagnosis. We are also able to offer cutting edge treatments by being involved in several research endeavors including headache management and acute stroke therapies. We have an onsite state of the art vascular ultrasound lab that allows us to evaluate intracerebral and extracerebral arteries for patients with symptoms of stroke; embolic monitoring for those on anticoagulation; renal arteries for those with refractory hypertension; extremity arteries and veins for those with pain or swelling; right to left shunt evaluation for those with unexplained stroke or refractory migraines; and aortic aneurysm screening.
All neurological diseases and symptoms are seen at our center. This includes stroke, memory loss, multiple sclerosis, seizures, headaches, arm leg or back pain, numbness, weakness, balance problems, and dizziness. We have brought together an experienced and enthusiastic team to care for any or all of these issues. Part of this care includes the development of patient focused care plans for a healthy lifestyle that helps all neurological ailments.
